Community Vibe in collaboration with “Don’t Go Into The Cellar!” is
proud to present these spectacular Music Hall shows, brought to you in the
Edwardian tradition of Mirth, Music and Merriment as part of Birmingham’s
forthcoming Diamond Jubilee celebrations
We have been working with professional actors, musicians from BCAT and members of the local
community toward devising a performance which truly re-creates the nostalgia of the late nineteenth
century’s most popular form of entertainment
During the reign of King Edward VII, hundreds of Music Halls were to be found up and down the
country, offering affordable entertainment to local communities and for people of all ages - a true
palace of delights where everyone could join together and enjoy singing, dancing, comedy, magic &
novelty acts galore
It is in this spirit that Community Vibe is delighted to present ‘Ta - Ra - Ra Brum De - Ay’ (for
Birmingham) and ‘A Jolly Bostin’ Jubilee Jamboree’ (for the Black Country). There will be
lots of surprises on the day, and along with “Don’t Go Into The Cellar!” we look forward to
you all joining us for a good old-fashioned knees-up!
